A systematic framework for corporate relocation : a critical review of relocation projects from a facility management approachen_US
This dissertation focuses on corporate relocation projects and aims to identify the major factors causing relocation problems. We apply literature review to identify and classify the key factors causing relocation problems, a case study to validate these key factors and questionnaire survey to confirm these factors are consistent with literature review and the case study. In addition, we apply project success factors and the major findings from this research to develop a systematic framework for corporate relocation model. This proposed model is as guidelines to manage relocation projects, and this incorporates the implementation stages and procedures for the entire process of relocation projects. This research is useful for corporations and facilities management professionals to avoid the problems for future relocation projects and to accomplish project success.en_US
