dcterms.abstract | This project has studied seven cases in the semiconductor industry about their business designs, that is, the way the companies doing business with the customers. We found out that it is because of the business designs, but not the technology embedded, have triggered the migration of value to some industrial players in the technological industry, semiconductor. The patterns of the migration of value are "Multi-directional Migration", "Multi-category Migration", "From Integration to Specialization", and "From Conventional Selling to High-End Solutions". | en_US |
