dc.title | Realization of Bluetooth ad hoc network | en_US |
dcterms.abstract | Bluetooth is said to be a new personal ad-hoc network system. The specified protocol design based on Piconets and Scatternets is limited such that the applicable ad-hoc networking has not been realized yet. The new Bluetooth Virtual Network, or BVP, is proposed. It is a richly interconnected, dynamic, fairness and highly bandwidth-efficient Bluetooth network, in the absence of the piconet capability of point-to-multipoint communication, such that the network versatility does not bind to the non-multiple-access scheme of Piconets. BVP is composed in the basis of virtual LMP links, so that it is virtual in the idle state. To maintain the virtual network, the pseudo-synchronization is designed to minimize the loss rate of link, to reduce the latency of "real" data transmission and to monitor the add-drop activities. The implementation of BVP considers that battery-powered and limited computing-power handheld devices are the major participants of the wireless ad-hoc network. | en_US |
