Abstract: | Logistics and supply chain management is rapidly developing in recent several decades. More and more enterprises have get consensus that logistics and supply chain management is quite important, not only in efficiency increasing and cost decreasing, but also a strategy function to deploy its business model. Innovation is the key factor lead to successful and workable logistics and supply chain management. To break the traditional concept and bottleneck, innovation is the source power to make out new model. Modern logistics and supply chain management is focused on physical goods flow, finance flow and information flow. After a new model designed, execution by integrating the above three flow will make the innovation into benefit and profit. This dissertation is basing on manufacturing area, IT enterprise especially, to create a workable and effective logistics and supply chain management model. The new model study is ground on VMI theory, which is vendor management inventory. VMI entirely change the traditional business relation and supply chain rule, which can bring win-win effect for both the enterprise and the suppliers. |
