dcterms.abstract | Internet banking is definitely essential ingredient to successful banking operations nowadays and in the long run. Therefore, the Internet banking adoption is one of the hottest topics in the top management agenda in the banking filed. In past, Internet banking was launched as a value-added service to retail banking customers. After a couple years of operation, it is time to enhance the functions and features to meet the increasing demand in Internet banking services as well as electronic work processing for all customers' types, especially for the corporate and commercial banking customers. However, to enhance Internet banking, the bank should involve a large cost for expensive resources. Therefore, the Internet banking strategy of the bank is very important. This paper explores the topic about the comparison between China and Hong Kong on Internet banking for the corporate and commercial customers. In this study, the topic from 4 angles are addressed, namely 1) identifying the current usage of banking services by banking customers in China and Hong Kong; 2) identifying the main factors that affect the adoption of Internet banking by corporate and commercial banking customers in China and Hong Kong; 3) summarize a group of functions that the corporate and commercial banking customers are interested for on the Internet banking; and 4) Comparing the above study results about Internet banking by the corporate and commercial banking customers in China and Hong Kong. I hope that the banks can develop the Internet banking strategies and services for the corporate and commercial customers in China and Hong Kong based on the findings of this dissertation. | en_US |
