Abstract: With the rapid development of the economy, China is playing an important role in the world. And this brings more and more business trips, as a result of which, greatly increase the demand of the hotels. Knowing the guests' real needs will enable the hotel to have the better performance in the serious competitions. The object of this study is to examine: l)how can the business travelers get the hotel information 2)the hotel reservation channel 3)factors affecting the mainland Chinese business travelers ' choice of the hotels 4) the relationship between the hotel selection and the personal factors of the Chinese business travelers 5)the influence of the scenic spot Upon the business travelers ' hotel selection. This study chose Hangzhou as the research setting and 179 questionnaires were collected for the analyses. Results showed that the major factors affecting the Chinese travelers' choice of the hotels are safety, cleanness, friendly service, free internet , location and price. Also, suggestion and the limitation were listed in the paper.
