Abstract: As CCD (Charge Coupled Device) linear sensor can detect all spectral lines within a certain wavelength, so in modern measurement technology gains more and more wide application. In first part, we design high sensitivity, high resolution, and real-time CCD data acquisition system. We choose the right CCD device according to spectral measurement requirements. And we choose A/D device according to CCD dynamic range in which we can improve with FFT algorithm known by experiment. The use of USB 2.0 and buffer with no external memory implement the real time data acquisition of spectrum. The use of FPGA and Verilog HDL description language implement CCD driver and global clock control to make the system more stable and reliable. In second part, we use C++ language on object-oriented method to develop FFT algorithm, and display data acquisition curve with TeeChart ActiveX. Finally we also use multithread technology to make data acquisition system to work synchronously.
