Abstract: The problems of internal auditing for banking include audit planning, setting audit objective requirements, audit scope determination and audit documentation. An audit system built on domain modeling concept is proposed to solve these problems for banks' internal auditors. The audit of customer deposits is used to illustrate the domain modeling concept applying to bank auditing. The infrastructure of customer deposits is discussed. An audit frame is introduced to solve the audit problems. Customer Deposits Domain, Customer Deposit Control Domain, Internal Control Requirements Domain and Audit Domains and other domains are identified. The Customer Deposits Domain and its other domains are presented by the object model of the Object Modeling Technique. The auditors' requirements are discussed. The domain formalization is done with the domain analysis. Audits carried out with domain modeling approach and the traditional approaches are studied. The advantages and disadvantages are presented. It is found out that with domain modeling approach, audit risk consideration and documentation are improved. These are extremely valuable to bank auditing. It is expected that system developed with domain modeling architecture can solve the auditors' problems.
