dc.title | Applying GIS for vehicle emission and dispersion study in Hong Kong | en_US |
dcterms.abstract | Vehicle emissions have a significant impact on the air quality on an urban and global scale. In this study, the models of calculating vehicle emissions are introduced and one model is chosen to calculate vehicle emission concentration in Hong Kong Island. Then the result is used for the analysis of the relationships between vehicle emissions and heavy metals and the relationships between vehicle emissions and population. It is found that vehicle emissions is a major source of urban heavy metal pollution, and most people in business center are suffered from a high pollution of vehicle emissions. | en_US |
