| dcterms.abstract | The phenomenon of "Village inside City" (VIC) is induced by the rapid urbanization in China. With the expansion of the urban land, an increasingly number of the VIC is generated in our country, especially along the coastal areas in recent years after the reform and open policy since 1978. The VIC may tarnish the image of the city as well the procedure of urban planning, and it is hard to manage and avoid the negative impact due to the characteristics of the VIC such as the complex population structure, the narrow streets and the limited public facilities. Therefore, it is necessary to transform the "Village inside City" in order to improve the landscape of city and revitalize the low-use land. "Village inside city" as the production of duel land management system, there are few reference for the transformation of VIC only through studying the similar development theories in the foreign countries which can help the author to make the suggestions to settle the issue of VIC. What is more, how to transform the VIC efficiently has become the heated topic in academic field in which they earnestly request to find out the suitable transformation model. At the same time, some problems will caused under different model due to the different transformation bodies mainly like the relocation and compensation concerns for the effected villagers. Nowadays, a great number of measures have been taken to solve the problems in the process of VIC transformation in political aspect which is so theoretical without the practical value with the detail cases. And the stakeholders who are taking decisive role in the procedure of the transformation project, especially the villagers, are usually ignored in the previous research. In this dissertation, the author introduces the foundational information of VIC such as the types and characteristics and focuses on the introduction of the transformation models applied to different transformation body. What is more, the related theories in foreign country and the previous researches in our country are both summarized according to the literature review to offer the author a clear the research objective of the dissertation. The author compares the typical transformation models in our country and analyses the feature of different models. The issues in the process of transformation is proposed and the countermeasures are suggested under the developer-oriented transformation with the case study of Qianshan, Zhuhai . Besides, the author hopes that the research can provide the valuable reference for dealing with the problems in the transformation process under the developed-oriented model and promote the VIC transformation in Zhuhai. | en_US |
