Abstract: 经贸型酒店主要提供客房服务和简单的早餐,是与全服务酒店相区别的有限服务酒店。由于经济型酒店在欧美国家起步早和拥有近百年的时间沉淀,欧美经济型酒店所针对的目标市场是非常明确的。而且经济型酒店细分为三种类型档次的酒店:有限服务酒店、经济酒店和廉价酒店。各个经济型酒店的品牌特色的差异化都比较明显,分别拥有稳定的客源群体。然而,经济型酒店在中国起步较晚。但在近几年,我国经济型酒店发展速度非常快,但品牌差异化程度较低。国内经济型酒店在达到一定数量以后,市场竞争加剧,笼统的市场定位和无差异的产品已经不能有效地吸引顾客,其是产品的同质化严重削弱了中国经济型酒店的竞争力和阻碍了中国经济型酒店的发展,因此中国的经济型酒店必须进行差异化定位来实现发展。本文对中国主要经济型酒店的资深人士进行了采访,还有对文献进行研究和搜集,从而在中国主要经济型酒店的定位方面进行了深入调查和研究,最后总结了中国经济型酒店应该如何差异化定位来实现创新发展。
