dc.title | The deposition of thin films of ZnO from CBD | en_US |
dcterms.abstract | Chemical bath deposition (CBD) is an inexpensive and reproducible method for depositing ZnO nanorods over large areas. In this dissertation, the effect of the control of zinc salt counter-ion, ionic strength, concentration and deposition temperature on crystallite morphology of ZnO films synthesized has been studied. The data show that the CBD method generates united nanorod arrays of ZnO on the crystalline ZnO template. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), x-ray diffraction (XRD) and energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDS) were applied to study the growth mechanism and characterize the structural properties. | en_US |
