Integrating distributed renewable energy sourcesen_US
Smart Grid has significant comprehensive benefits and broad development prospects; it is the development trends of World's power grids. In the developed countries, smart grid construction has been gradually raised to the national strategic level and become a very important of country's economic development and Energy Policy. Currently in Europe and the United States and other developed countries and regions, the period of Grid's high-speed development has passed, the grid architecture tend to be stable and mature, and have abundant transmission and distribution supply capacity. So the main concerns of grid development are: How to improve the efficiency of the grid, actively respond to the environmental challenges, improve the reliability of power supply and Power Quality, improve the services to electricity consumers, and adapt more open energy and electricity markets. After the large blackout in the United States and Canada, the developed countries and regions increasingly concerned about the security and flexibility of electricity supply and the Power Quality. Many countries and organization have started series of research and practice about two-way interaction between users, development and management of renewable energy and distributed generation, and the business model of the power supply.en_US
