Abstract: | The Smart Grid was the latest direction for the future power system development. In this paper, firstly the review of Smart Grid, its meaning, as well as the main triggers and benefits were presented. Typical diagram of Smart Grid was illustrated. The comparison between existing power grid and smart grid was summarized and compared as well. Then some typical energy policy and different countries' policy stance which was highly relevant in view of smart grid and renewable energy development were presented. Also, some suggestions for the policy of our new energy development in China were discussed. Finally, a case study explained the impacts of different energy policy such as energy tax and economic analysis on power system (generator) operations. |
