Abstract: English writing is the comprehensive embodiment of students' cognitive ability and language expression competence and the outstanding feature to measure the students' English capacity. However, due to the long-time outdated and obsolete foreign languages teaching concept and the closed and rigid teaching system, the traditional English composition teaching is not optimistic and it is difficult to understand the teaching objectives. The rapid development and popularized the application of the information technology giving priority to computers and network provides the unprecedented strong technical support means for the study of teaching and learning in the network environment. In the thesis, I firstly analyzed the topic background and significance of the English composition training management system and learnt about and studied the relevant systems existing at home and abroad. Under the situation of overall consideration of the demand analysis of the topic and the customers'requirements, I put forward the general idea of using computer technology, network communication technology and database technology to design the system. After that, I proposed the broad frame of the system, carried out reasonable partition on each functional module of the system and perfected the main working flow of the system. Based on this, taking Windows7 and Tomcat as the development platform, myeclipse as the development tool, mysql as the backend database of the system, I utilized J2EE technology, Java language, JavaScript scripting language and reflection technology to conduct detailed design and development. The system from the perspective of the user, has realized three function module{212b3a}students, teachers and administer; the module of Teachers upload resources, e-mail communication, writing resources upload and so on{212b39}the administers module has realized sub-module function of users management, writing resources management, system configuration management and so on. This paper supplies the segment interface and process of the system on the part of system implementation, and detail description of the difficult and key technology problem on the part of system implementation. In addition, to this system design on the safety strategy from the three aspects of a database, application program and network transmission, to make sure the security of this system. The system used B/S (browser/server) pattern to realize, not only can run on a single environment, but also can run in the network environment. It has a good openness and scalability. Design and research of teaching resources and software based on the network environment has become the hotspot in domestic and overseas. To explore a new teaching model of English writing in secondary and primary schools, looking forward good teaching, economic benefit and popularized value.
