Study of mobile location - based healthcare services : data analysis, mining and applicationen_US
Individual healthcare has been more complicated throughout the world. Nations have been long suffering from the high cost of public hospital and healthcare system. It requires improvement. However, changes associated with healthcare are not easy to be put into practice. In recent years, the growth in numbers and capacity of mobile devices such as smart phones coupled with wide availability of cheap range of general sensors and biosensors presents an unprecedented opportunity for self home (individual) healthcare applications. Thus in this thesis, both inertia and peripheral biosensors are introduced. The popular sensors, such as accelerometer, are explored. For a key in the provision of mobile healthcare services is the issue of using technological innovation to support continuous monitoring of user conditions, providing a degree of self-diagnosis and enabling effective real-time decision making to reduce fatalities. Ubiquitous data modelling and mining process can be realized by - Real-time analysis on-board mobile devices - Empirical analysis from server with taking into consideration available resources - battery charge and available RAM and SDCard Memory. However, to practice an intelligent and smart analysis of data on mobile devices, it is imperative for analysis strategies to factor in contextual information.en_US
