Abstract: | Nowadays, the shortage of the conventional energy and the worldwide green gas become serious day by day, promoting the development of renewable energy technologies. The reason that renewable energy trends the future energy development is that it could be a broad geographic distribution, clean and sustainable. Solar photovoltaic could transfer solar energy into green electricity, therefore it is mature, developing ceaselessly and has reached a large-scale application in industry park and living quarters. However, SPV systems exist two main problems: the price of SPV system is high and the efficiency of SPV system is not satisfactory. Along with the improvement of photovoltaic cell technology, the cost of solar panel, the install and maintenance fee decrease to acceptable level. Therefore, the methods increasing conversion efficiency become the core issue of photovoltaic power generation need to be solved. This paper presents the research of the behavior of different maximum power point tracking (MPPT) techniques applied to PV system. Methods like perturb and observe, constant voltage and fuzzy logic. Utilize MATLAB to simulate the model of PV module and DC/DC boost converter with different techniques of MPPTS. And then give the commands of each MPPT in application. |
