dc.title | Positioning performance of Beidou satellite navigation system with multiple-frequency | en_US |
dcterms.abstract | With the development of modern technology, the Global Positioning System (GNSS) has a incredible progress during recent decades based on the improvement of aerospace industry, especially in satellite navigation system. Currently, there are numbers of available GNSS system.Beside GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Compass (Beidou) and many regional GNSS augmentation systems have trended to be mature. Comparing to only using one navigation system, combine these new GNSS systems will dramatically improve navigation performance with better satellite coverage and multiple satellite signal bands. In this dissertation, the improvements of positioning performance combined by GPS, GLONASS and Compass has been investigated based on both theoretical analysis and numerical study.Firstly, the development of GNSS has been introduced, including the recent techniques, development strategy of different GNSS system, multiple frequency ambiguity resolution and ambiguity resolution validation methods and etc. After that, experiment methodology and mathematical model are presented.Secondly, experiments are conducted. The navigation performance of Beidou,GPS, and their combined systems has been analyzed in multi-frequency carrier phase measurement, particularly for long-base line. The study demonstrates that Beidou have better performance than GPS. | en_US |
