Aspects on fire detection system for high speed railway systemsen_US
In this paper, a fire detection system for high speed railway system will be discussed. High speed railway system is convenient for passenger, rolling stocks running on rail track built especially for high speed transportation. With more and more traveler choose high speed railway as their first choice of travel, fire safety for such systems should not be neglected. For different countries like Japan, French, German and China, the standard for high speed railway system share similar requirements for fire safety of rolling stocks and transportation system of high speed rail. But an advance fire detection system is not a compulsory item. Video detection also will be discussed and tested in this paper. A suitable fire detection system for high speed railway tunnels and terminals will be concluded at the end of this paper. Because the passenger volume in high speed railway terminal is large, the evacuation strategy is also important, due to the limitation of time period, evacuation issue will be discussed in the literature review part.en_US
