Application of feedback control system in hazardous wastes incineratoren_US
Today, many industries allocate in excess of 10 percent of their plant investment capital for instrumentation and control for improvement their production quality and reducing the manpower cost. Feedback control becomes widely use in system control. Same as many industrial plants, Chemical Waste Treatment Facilities (CWTF) is facing a pressure on increasing the operation costs. Cost reduction becomes a top priority for the engineering department. The objective of this project is to reduce the reagent consumption (lime) for Incineration Flue Gas Cleaning System (IFGCS) in hazardous wastes incinerator with sulfur oxide (SOx) and hydrogen halogens (mainly hydrogen chloride (HCl), and hydrogen fluoride (HF), to meet the emission standard. The investigation is divided into 5 stages: (1) Analysis the existing control philosophy and data (2) Research on the calculation of chemical reactions (3) Construct and implement the control program under feedback control (4) Verify the performance and analysis the tests results (5) Conclusion and Recommendation Through this Thesis, the following have been achieved: (1) Reuse the residue lime causing a reduction of commercial lime usage. (2) Increase in neutralization efficiency. (3) Improved compliance with emission limit for peaks in acid gas emission. (4) Low (or No) investment and maintenance cost.en_US
