dc.title | Probabilistic small signal stability analysis based on monte carlo method | en_US |
dcterms.abstract | This paper studies probabilistic small signal stability analysis in electric power systems based on the Monte Carlo method. The uncertainties considered include both generator and load in the power systems, and other parameter changes like components. The simulation of Monte Carlo method is used to carry out the probabilistic small signal stability assessment of the power system, including eigenvalue analysis. The proposed method is tested by analyzing the eigenvalues of three different systems, shown in three case studies. The result of simulation of each case study are stable, and oscillation modes are identified. The process of simulation is programmed in MATLAB based on Power System Toolbox software package. | en_US |
