dcterms.abstract | A series of wind tunnel experiments for a kind of VTOL have been done. This thesis reports the wind tunnel test and their results for the semi-span scaled down model of a tail-sitter at different angles of attack, Reynolds numbers, flap deflections and various constant pitching rates. The aerodynamic experiments are determined by the operation scenario of the tail-sitter vehicle and data will be extended to fulfill the need of Hardware-in-loop simulation. Aerodynamic characteristics of the tail-sitter will be discussed. | en_US |
