Simulation of air flow of building exterior by using computational fluid dynamicsen_US
The air flow movement around the building is useful for the building design, measurement and construction. This study compared the air flow patterns around the different shapes of the building. These building include the hemispherical building, the cuboid building and the cubic building. The air flow patterns are formed by the computer software, which is a method called computational fluid dynamics (CFD). The function and the operation method of the software also are introduced in this project. The air flow distribution of the hemispherical building shows the balance of the total pressure and higher velocity of the outdoor air. The air flow around the cuboid and cubic building show the pressure difference and lower velocity behind the building.en_US
