Abstract: In this dissertation, the real ADS-B data is analyzed. ADS-B is short for Automatic-Dependent-Surveillance System, which can automatically obtain parameters from the relevant airborne equipment to broadcast aircraft position, altitude, speed, heading, identification number and other information to other aircraft or ground stations for controllers to perform on the aircraft status. It is a system of air monitoring. However, because it is a relatively new technology, it has its limitations and deficiencies. The purpose of this dissertation is to 1) calculate the delay time of ADS-B message; 2) explore the new method to try to reduce the delay time of ADS-B message; 3) study the correlation between angle of attack and turbulence intensity; 4) study the correlation between turbulence intensity, variations of atmospheric parameters and GPS errors; so as to come up a recommendation to help improve the navigation accuracy of ADS-B system.
