|dcterms.abstract||This study reports on research into the attitudes of new local K-12 English teachers towards China English. The participants are five new English teachers in Chinese K-12 public schools. The research conducts the Acceptability Judgment Task and in-depth semi-structured interview to elicit participants' attitudes and identify factors that may affect their attitudes. Findings indicated that all of them have a generally positive attitude towards the existence of China English but a negative attitude towards the use and promotion of CE. Results also showed that the exam-oriented education system and media in China have influenced participants' attitudes.||en_US|
