DNA absorption and desorption with functionalized nanoporous anodic aluminum oxide membraneen_US
DNA extraction and purification from vivo sample is demanded in various research fields for genetic analysis process. Characterized by its chemical stability, potentials in diversified surface modification options and simplified protocols, solid-phase based method for DNA molecules isolation has widely discussed. In this project, a novel biomembrane: nanoporous anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) membrane was employed as DNA extraction substrate after APTES modification to investigate its optimal interaction conditions and to exam the different Lambda DNA binding capacities among three pore sizes. The best absorption and desorption conditions were pH 4.5 and pH 10.5, under these reaction conditions, Lambda DNA capturing ability increased with the amino group intensity.en_US
